What we know
From a family home to a regional ministry.
In 1988, Rogersville native Sheldon Livesay and his family began sharing emergency food with neighbors from their home. The ministry incorporated in 1990 and expanded across Hawkins and Hancock counties.
The ministry’s public history describes this beginning as an act of Christian faith supported by local churches and neighbors.
